Zeke smiled, he could sense some relief in his love, but also another sense of terror. She was worried about something, he knew that, and he could also guess what it was about. She was probably worried about other people's thoughts and views on this, she had always been like this. "So, now, what do we do?"

Lucy reached into her bag and pulled out a stack of papers bound together. Her parents will. She flipped to the section she'd highlighted and handed them to Zeke.

Zeke grabbed the papers and began to read the highlighted section. Zeke wasn't any good at law and order, but he was beginning to see what they had to do. "Does this say what I think it does?"

Lucy nodded. "I won't force you into anything Zeke, but it looks like the only way out," Lucy said. "and we've been together four years now."

"I guess it is settled then," he knelt down with baby Hailey still around his waist and used his free hand to search around his pockets. He had been saving this for a special occassion, just like this. He grabbed the small object, which belonged to his mother and she gave it too him many years ago, before he was changed, and he has held on to it ever since. He pulled it out and held the ring up to Lucy, "Will you please do me the pleasure of marrying me, Lucy?"

Lucy smiled widely, tears of joy brimming her eyes. "Of course I will," Lucy said softly.

Zeke began to cry, his green eyes were filling with tears as he stood up and placed the ring on her finger. He wrapped his free hand around Lucy and the three were now in a group hug, Zeke and Lucy couldn't have been happier.
